March Update

March Update

This past month we had the honor of celebrating AJ + Bailey Britton! These two lovebirds were Fellows last year. It is hard to believe that we are close to wrapping up another year of Fellows.

Round Table

We've had a great month of Round Table hosts. What a gift it is to share a meal with generous people in our community each week. This month we were with Rob + Meryl Snow, Rosalyn + Anna Otto, Kip + Erica Zimmerman, and Tim + Deborah Gardner.

This group of Fellows is sure to love any dog we come into contact with!

Round Table at the Zimmerman's farm was fun for all.

Great discussion had at the Gardner's and we were so fortunate to be joined by Caleb's mom, Karen!

Birthdays

We had several birthday celebrations this month. First, we celebrated Jamo!

We got to celebrate Caroline too since her and Jamo are two out of the three Filston triplets!

Happy Birthday Luke!

Bryn always throws a fun birthday party for herself!

Silent Retreat

Shannon Rainey led us on a day of solitude on the beautiful property of Don + Robin Flow. What an incredible day to get away, rest, and recharge.

We wrapped up our day with dinner on the porch.

Leader Lunch

I was so excited to introduce the Fellows to one of my dearest friends, Ashley Wechter.

Bo Brookby is a great friend of the Fellows and already has a great relationship with the Fellows from First Pres.

This was David Barkdale's first time speaking to the Fellows and he was engaging, energetic, and inspiring!

Melissa Parker is always a favorite of the Fellows as she shares and leads with vulnerability. Each week we are reminded of the remarkable men and women in our city, and we are fortunate get time with them.

Spring Fling

Dr. Meryl Snow invited the ladies to Davidson Medical Ministries Spring Fling. We love the Snow family!

Classes

If you look very closely at the computer, you will see Nigel Alston. Once again, Nigel is leading us through  Dale Carnegie leadership courses.

Martha Metzler taught us on reframing and owning our stories.

Frank McNair has led a couple classes on interview and communication skills.

AJ + Bailey's wedding

Look how excited they are!

Fellows alumni traveled far to celebrate.

I sure do miss these ladies!

On the go

The Fellows enjoy finding ways to spend their time all around Winston. Go Deacs!

Sunny days call for lunch at Bailey Park.

Sunset picnics on the farm!

Miranda's parents came to town and cooked an incredible Peruvian dinner!

We love Lavender + Honey cinnamon rolls!

Sydney made homemade pasta!

Bieber fever

Tense game

Silent Disco

Don't you sit on the fridge at your house?

Looking Ahead

We are officially heading to Kodiak Island, Alaska for our Mission Trip in May. More details on that to come soon! This month we will be preparing for both that and for graduation.

We have a couple events planned with our Crossnore community as well as another all-star lineup of speakers. In addition, we hope to be interviewing for the new Co-Director position. So many exciting things ahead, so stay tuned!
