UPDATE Week of July 10

Meghan Beck is now Meghan Walker!

Weddings and White Coats!

We had some big happenings over the weekend. Meghan Beck (Class of '22) got married to college sweetheart (and basically our fourteenth Fellow for all the times he visited!) Ross Walker. The wedding and after party could not have been more hype.

Meanwhile Lucy Lawrence donned her White Coat on Saturday morning as she begins her journey at Wake Forest Medical School.

In other news, Fellows alums are moving out and moving in all around town. I received word yesterday that Christina Sandstedt (year 1 Fellow) ran into Riley Burress (year 4 Fellow)mat church in Washington DC over the weekend.

Small world!
Speaking of small world. Here is Ned with Dr. Miranda Orr, professor and scientist studying Alzheimers who is from Saco, Montana (population 197). The night before in the same room I had dinner with Rocky Erickson, also from Saco, Montana!

The Fourth

the Ericksons went on their annual trek to Columbus, Ohio for the 4th of July. The highlight, other than a power point party (so fun!) was getting to be some of the official judges for the floats in the parade!

The Ericksons actually made it back to Winston for the fireworks here! Whew! What a weekend!

A Visit From Patrick

Speaking of highlights! Ned had the chance to go for a walk with Year 2 Fellow, Patrick McCarthy. He is doing well in Louisville, Kentucky where he is teaching and preparing for Law School.

A BIG Welcome to Clara!

Clara Whitman is a recent graduate from University of Virginia and now our most recent Fellow!

Our prayers are answered. Clara is incredible. Can't wait to introduce you all to her. Welcome!

Recruiting Update

speaking of prayers, keep them coming! We would love two more females for next year's class, which open the door to let in another male! Let's pray it into existence team! It's not too late.

If someone comes to mind - please connect us. It never hurts to at least have a conversation. You can contact Ned via text (336) 413-4918

Giving Update

You may be receiving or have already received some emails about financially supporting the Fellows. It is because we REALLY NEED your support.

Don't rest on the idea that someone else is going to do it. YOU BE THAT SOMEONE!
