ROUND TABLE SWEETNESS
We had the sweetest time with Sarah Angle and Sydney Circeo on Monday (not pictured - that's Callie and Hef, but they were there! Even though this picture is from another day - anyway...Round Table was fantastic. We ate, we shared, we worshipped, we prayed, and ate the best dessert in history. Thanks Sarah!
LEADER LUNCH AT SAMARITAN MINISTRIES
We had a fantastic Wednesday Leader Lunch with our friends at Samaritan Ministries. Jan and Kimberly met with us. Joe Ely came and shared his story and some sage wisdom about life and service.
Afterward, we put it into practice and completely a service project!
LAST CLASS WITH MARTHA
and
CRISIS CONTROL MINISTRIES
No pictures but we had a great third session with Martha. Afterward, we headed over to Crisis Control to participate in a poverty simulation called Living on the Edge. George Banks brought the heat! What a fantastic program and fantastic organization.
BRIDGE BUILDING
The Fellows and friends jumped in to take part in a very meaningful moment for our city as we installed a bridge over Peter's Creek on the Crossnore Property as part of the new Emma and Stuart Thomas Trail which BRIDGES Buena Vista and Boston Thurmond neighborhoods.
This project is near and dear to our hearts
And I get chills just thinking about what this means for our city. Such an honor to be a part of it and be among the first to cross the bridge!
FRIENDSGIVING
The highlight of a week of highlights was Friendsgiving with the Fellows.
